Gastrointestinal Problems in Dogs

Many of us assume that if a dog occasionally throws up or has diarrhea that this is normal.  Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't.  It could be a sign of a serious medical problem.  If your dog has had diarrhea or has been throwing up for more than 24 hours, if your dog has abdominal distention or is not acting normally we recommend bringing your dog in to see us. If the symptoms are severe we recommend bringing in your dog immediately.
